About The Author
Many authors’ bios start by letting the reader know that they’ve been writing since they were eight years old or maybe even younger. Susan Meilleur Mills is not one of them. A passionate reader her entire life, she did not think she had the imagination to be an author. To alleviate the tedium of the Pandemic, she started writing the story that had been bouncing around in her mind for years. She had no idea what the ending was going to be, or that she was going to fall in love with the characters. Three years later, she’s started her fourth manuscript with ideas for several more. Her imagination has finally been activated.

Susan is a lifelong Vermonter, who longed for years to live somewhere warmer. Recently retired, she’s finding the cold and snow much more enjoyable since she no longer must venture outside early in the morning. She’s an ardent traveler who loves long road trips. Cycling and kayaking are favorite activities when she’s not lost in a book.
Her two children are grown and flown, leaving Susan to live her happily ever after with her husband and three needy cats.
